The intent of this ILC/PT is to provide a means for the participant to determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of participant practices, training, and measurement uncertainty relating to testing and calibration of Current Clamp-on Meters. Participants will generate 2x DC & AV voltages up to 150V,7x DC & AC Currents in the range of 100 to 500) A, and a 100-ohm Resistance value. This ILC/PT Kit contains a multifunction Clamp Meter with a basic accuracy between (1% and 6%) of reading and resolution is 0.1 Units.
Participants are expected to be familiar with the theory, operation, testing and/or calibration of DC/LF electrical devices for industrial applications. Participants are also expected to have necessary and appropriate lab standards, equipment, cables, connectors, fittings and test fixtures. Organizations must have measurement uncertainties appropriate for testing and/or calibration of similar devices.
