The intent of this ILC/PT is to provide a means for the participant to determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of participant practices, training, and measurement uncertainty relating to testing and calibration of DC Power Supplies. Participants will measure DC Voltage and DC Current signal outputs from a DC Power Supply.
This ILC/PT Kit contains a BK Precision 1550, DC Power Supply (36 V, 3A, 108 W). Participants will use their lab practices to perform 10 measurements and an option for 6 additional test points.
Constant Voltage Mode: DC Voltage (7.2, 14.4, 21.6, 28.8, 36) V
Constant Current Mode: DC Current (0.6, 1.2, 138, 2.4, 30) A
(Optional) Constant Voltage Regulation: 36V@108W (Line & Load Regulation)
(Optional) Constant Voltage PARD: 100% Load @20 MHz bandwidth (Voltage RMS & Voltage Peak-to-Peak)

Participants are expected to be familiar with testing and calibration of DC Power Supplies, have appropriate lab equipment and have measurement uncertainties appropriate for testing and calibration of similar devices.
